Announcement of Block Explorer Update

Greetings, ONINO Community,

We are excited to announce a significant upgrade in the way users can interact with the ONINO network: the launch of our updated Blockchain Explorer coming on Wednesday, 27th of March). This upgrade provides an entirely new interface for interacting with the ONINO Testnet and takes a significant step forward in usability enabled by the help of BlockScout.

Evolution of Our Explorer

Our journey began with a custom blockchain explorer that served as a robust starting point. However, as our network is starting to evolve, we are in the process of onboarding the first pilot customers and feedback from the community is growing, the need for a more sophisticated and feature-rich platform became clear. Our aim was not only to meet current requirements but also to provide for future developments. Especially the operation of our future SubChains requires detailed insights into stats, costs, and transactions, which will be facilitated by our scalable new explorer framework.

New Features and Capabilities

User Interface Overhaul

We have completely redesigned the Explorer to make it not only clearer, but also much more user-friendly. Navigation has been streamlined so that searching for transaction histories, block details or specific wallet information is faster and more intuitive than before. The new design prioritizes both aesthetics and functionality, ensuring that whether you're a seasoned blockchain enthusiast or a newcomer, you'll find navigating the ONINO ecosystem a seamless experience.

Comprehensive Analytics

Our analytics page now goes beyond simple stats. It's designed to provide anyone with a convenient analysis of the state of the ONINO network, showing everything from daily transaction volumes to gas prices over time. These insights are presented in a clear, understandable format so that both users and developers can make informed decisions. Whether you want to track the success of a particular dApp or determine the best time to execute transactions, our analytics page will provide you with valuable data.

Token Exploration

The new token page is a comprehensive resource that catalogs every token on the ONINO network automatically. It is not just a list, each token entry contains detailed information such as the contract address, transaction volume, and current holders, and even allows you to directly add the test token to your MetaMask wallet via one click. This page provides everyone developing on the ONINO Testnet with an easy way to interact with test tokens, both theirs and others.

Insight into Top Accounts

Transparency is key in any blockchain ecosystem, and our Top Accounts feature is designed to provide just that. While this may not be too relevant in a testnet environment, this is a feature built already now for the future ONINO Mainnet: By highlighting the most active or well-funded accounts on the network, users can get a sense of who the key players are in the ONINO ecosystem. This feature is not just for curiosity but is a tool to understand the dynamics of the network, evaluate the distribution of tokens, and recognize the key players in network activity.

Smart Contract Tools

Our enhanced smart contract verification tools are a boost for developers looking to build trust and security in their applications. By enabling easy verification of smart contracts and providing a dedicated space for these verified contracts, we are creating an environment where transparency and trust are key. These tools are essential for anyone wishing to deploy or interact with smart contracts on the ONINO network, creating a more secure and reliable ecosystem.

REST API

The Block Explorer REST API is a comprehensive toolkit developed by developers for developers. It provides detailed documentation and a wide range of endpoints that enable deep integration with the ONINO network. Whether you want to develop a new dApp, create a wallet, or integrate data from the ONINO network into your services, our explorer’s REST API provides the flexibility and depth needed to innovate easily.
